Jay Reatard is the insanely prolific gonzo-garage rocker who knocks out EP after EP of optimistic, up-and-at-'em punk rock tunes (14 in three years). Watch Me Fall, his second solo album, is no departure. Reatard, real identity Jay Lindsey of Memphis, typically makes a Buzzcockian power-pop racket with fuzzy synth chords behind his blur-wristed guitar thrashing, and there's a case to be made that when you've heard one you've heard 'em all. In practice it's like opening a packet of Haribo - before you know it you're a dozen down
