From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Rae Sremmurd and J Hus have been added to the Sunday lineup for Wireless Festival this weekend after A$AP Rocky's arrest in Sweden.
Earlier this week it was announced that the US rapper had been detained for up to two more weeks amid investigations into his connection to a brawl in Stockholm.
The rapper denies an allegation of assault and says he was trying to break up the fight.
American hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd will now close the festival, while J Hus has been announced to perform at 7.15pm on the same day.
"We now know for sure that A$AP Rocky won’t be able to make his set tomorrow [Sunday]," Wireless Festival tweeted.
"We’ve been busy making calls….and now we’re hyped to say London’s J Hus is joining the line-up and Rae Sremmurd will close the show."
Wireless Festival takes place on 6 and 7 July.
