The Bright actor posted the video on his Instagram account, congratulating his son and adding: "It is a delicious gift to a parent to admire his children. Keep doin' you!"
The video shows Smith sporting a giant gold chain and grills; wearing a torn denim jacket and shorts as he recreates the opening scenes of Jaden's video "Icon".
"Icon" is a single off Jaden's debut album SYRE, which was named by some music publications as one of the best rap albums of 2017.
Smith has proven hugely popular on Instagram: despite only posting around 60 times, he has 7.4m followers, with many praising his "rebranding", which includes throwback pictures, touching posts about his family, and funny videos of him at work.
