Ariana Grande took to the stage to kick start the US football season last night, wowing fans with her rendition of the national anthem.

The 21-year-old singer performed “The Star Spangled Banner” ahead of the first National Football League game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers in Seattle.

Grande donned a Seahawks jumper and jeans to pledge her support for the home team, who won the Super Bowl earlier this year.

The “Break Free” star’s new album My Everything became her second US chart-topper in less than a year this week, after shifting 169,000 copies.

Pharrell Williams and native band Soundgarden also performed at the pre-game event.

Grande was caught up in the recent nude photos leak that saw private, explicit images emerge of over 100 celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence, Cara Delevingne, Victoria Justice, Jessica Brown Findlay and Kirsten Dunst.

But she was quick to debunk rumours that they were real, tweeting that he real naked self is far “cuter” than the images would have fans suggest.

The FBI is investigating the hacking after releasing a statement confirming that it is “aware of the allegations concerning computer intrusions and the unlawful release of material involving high profile individuals”.
