Your support makes all the difference.Taylor Swift made an unexpected appearance at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on January 6, performing a single song as part of a demonstration of Sony's 3D video technology. Both Sony and Swift said they plan to use 3D effects for future live performances.
At the conference, Swift and her band performed the song "Love Story" with a video screen behind them showing the same performance in 3D. Sony said it plans to create several such live 3D performances.
The singer and reveals plans to make use of the technology. "My tour starts up next month in Australia and Japan," said Swift during her performance, "and I'm very much looking forward to documenting all of that behind-the-scenes and on-tour footage using 3D."
Swift is set to begin a tour of Australia in February, beginning in Brisbane on February 4 and ending February 12 in Adelaide. She is also expected to reveal upcoming dates in Japan. The singer has further tour dates planned in the US between March and June.
