The news - which was alleged in Pusha T diss track “The Story of Adidon” - arrives on “Emotionless” in which the 31-year-old Canadian rapper states: “I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world / I was hiding the world from my kid.”
More details are revealed on the record's final track “March 14” in which he soberly discusses his issues with being a single father to the child, named Adonis.
In the track, he suggests he has only met his son once - at Christmastime.
“She’s not my lover like Billie Jean but the kid is mine," he raps, referencing the Michael Jackson song, later adding: "I only met you one time, introduced you to Saint Nick / I think he must've brought you like twenty gifts."
He also mentions his mother, Sandi Graham, rapping: “Sandi used to tell me all it takes it one time, and all it took was one time / S***, we only met two times, two times.”
He continues: “Single father, I hate when I hear it / I used to challenge my parents on every album / Now I’m embarrassed to tell them I ended up as a co-parent / Always promised the family unit / I wanted it to be different because I’ve been through it.”
Drake then raps directly to his son.
"I don't want you worry about whose house you live at / Or who loves you more, or who's not there / Who did what to who 'fore you got here / Now, look, I'm too proud to let that come between me and you now / Realise I got to think for two now, I gotta make it, I better make it / I promise if I'm not dead then I'm dedicated."
Rumours that Drake had a son with Sophie Brussaux circulated following the release of Pusha T's “The Story of Adidon” which claimed the rapper has a secret love child he was trying to keep secret.
