Sam Smith has announced dates for his 2018 UK and Europe arena tour.

The British singer will take in dates in Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham, finishing the UK dates with two shows at London's O2 Arena.

His European dates will include Dublin, Stockholm, Oslo, Berlin, Cologne, Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna and Madrid, rounding off at Lisbon's MEO Arena.

The tour is in support of his forthcoming album The Thrill of it All, set for release on 3 November via Capitol Records.

Tickets go on general sale on Friday 27 October
