French alternative rock band Phoenix has added ten US tour dates to its current schedule, announced Live Daily on February 15. Tickets for many of the April shows, which bookend the band's appearance at the Coachella Festival, go on sale February 19.

The band's US tour leg begins April 17 in Santa Cruz, California, followed a day later by the group's appearance at the Coachella Festival in Indio, CA. From April 20 through 30, the tour continues with dates throughout the country.

The Grammy-winning group has added its new tour leg to a jam-packed touring schedule, which has the group currently between dates in Mexico on Japan, then performing sold-out dates in Europe through March.

The band is touring in support of its album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, which won a 2010 Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album.
