Paula Abdul has announced she will have her own Las Vegas residency beginning this year on 13 August.
The first leg will include 20 dates and run until 14 January 2020. The news arrived after the artist performed a six-minute song and dance routine at this year's Billboard Music Awards.

Abdul is the latest star to be given a residency on the Strip and has promised a show that will highlight the best of a career that has spanned three decades.
“I love telling stories through music and dance, and engaging with the audience,” Abdul said in a statement.
“I'm taking the essence of the classic choreography that has become part of my legacy and I want to have a real experience with the audience so they leave knowing me a bit more.”
The residency coincides with the 30th anniversary of her hit “Straight Up”, and also 31 years since the release of her album Forever Your Girl, which marked Abdul as the first ever female artist to receive four Billboard Hot 100 number one singles from a debut album.
