Nick Jonas fail at ACM Awards

Nick Jonas may not be a name one would usually associate with rock music but this didn't try to stop the singer from thrashing the guitar in front of a live audience.

Performing at the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday (3 April), Jonas joined fellow musician Kelsea Ballerini on stage to assist in her rendition of "Peter Pan."

Taking the duty of backing vocals, Jonas was doing perfectly well until a 17-second guitar solo landed at his feet.

He fared well in the first few seconds but it soon became apparent that he'd completely forgotten the chords.

Jonas embraced the error on social media, describing the moment as a "brain fart."

It seems somebody enjoyed the moment so much that they went to the trouble of mocking up some sheet music for anyone who decides they'd like to replicate Jonas' failed solo.

Nick Jonas' third solo album Last Year Was Complicated will be released on 10 June. It will feature collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign and Big Sean.
