Drake has revealed that his fourth album will be titled 'Views From The 6', also announcing his headline slot at this year's OVOFest and a US tour that will see him battle with Lil Wayne.
The news of the follow-up to 'Nothing Was The Same' was broken by Billboard this morning.
It is not yet clear what the '6' refers to, though it made me a nod to his hometown of Toronto, the most prominent area codes in which both feature the number.
Drake previously hinted at a new album on a spring 2015 release date in the track '0-100/The Catch Up' which he posted on Soundcloud last month:
"We already got spring 2015 poppin'," he raps. "PND droppin' / Reps-Up P droppin' / Majid Jordin droppin' / OB droppin' not to mention me droppin'."
Majid Jordan and PARTYNEXTDOOR have both also announced new releases though there's no news yet on new records from the other two OVO signees mentioned, P. Reign and OB Obrien.
Billboard also revealed that Drake will headline this year's fifth-annual OVOFest in Toronto alongside OutKast, and embark on a 31-city US tour starting in August that will see him engage in rap battles with Lil Wayne each night.
Recording is thought to have not yet begun on 'Views From The 6', but Drake has been pretty prolific lately, with 'Nothing Was The Same' only being released last September, and the rapper having also drip fed fans other new tracks 'Draft Day' and 'Trophies' in recent weeks.
