More than 46,300 Tweeters shared their musical preferences this Music Monday, November 30. The Twitterazzi were especially talking about music by Lady Gaga, with three of the artist's singles making it into the Music Monday top ten.

Music Monday is a weekly Twitter trend that involves users sharing the names of musicians and songs they like with their followers. They include the term "#musicmonday" in their 140-character-or-less tweet so that anyone on Twitter can search the term and discover new music.

Included on this week's top ten are three new singles from Lady Gaga's The Fame Monster, released on November 23, with "Bad Romance" coming in at number one. In second place is American electronic group Owl City with "Fireflies," still going strong since the single was released on the album Ocean Eyes in July.

Top ten #musicmonday tweets, as recorded by twit40.com:

1. Lady Gaga - Bad Romance
2. Owl City - Fireflies
3. 30 Seconds to Mars - Kings and Queens
4. Robin Thicke - Sex Therapy
5. Rihanna - Russian Roulette
6. Lady Gaga - Monster
7. Chris Brown - Crawl

10. Tie: Lykke Li - Possibility

Kesha - TiK ToK

This week's #musicmonday tweets included plenty of holiday music, with tracks by Michael Bublé and Mariah Carey appearing frequently on the feed.

Many people use Music Monday to veer away from Top 40 hits, instead sharing relatively unknown music or supporting their favorite local acts. Among this Monday's unique picks: the "Indonesian improvisational supergroup" Sabedarah and "Pana Aloha" by Hawaiian Heartbeat.
