From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Inevitably, Miley Cyrus is going to play a show completely naked, backed by a similarly nude Flaming Lips and in front of a bare audience.

Miley and the band tour the US in November in support of their collab album Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz, and it’s set to be quite a spectacle.

The Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne announced on Instagram: “Oh f*ck..!!! @mileycyrus is planning a show where her, the band ( us ) and the audience are all COMPLETELY naked with milk ( well white stuff that looks like milk) is being being spewed everywhere .. It's a video ( in the works) for #mileycyrusandherdeadpetz song The Milky Milky Milk.”

Of course she is! Miley has been obsessed with suggestive milky goo lately, as seen in her music video for Dooo It!

It’s not clear at which show this will happen yet, but here are the planned dates:

11/19 – Chicago, IL @ Riviera Theatre

11/21 – Detroit, MI @ The Fillmore

11/27 – Washington, DC @ Echostage

11/28 – New York, NY @ Terminal 5

12/05 – Philadelphia, PA @ Electric Factory

12/06 – Boston, MA @ House of Blues
