In the video, the “Malibu” singer-songwriter is seen miming to a clip from what seems to be her forthcoming single – a remixed version of “Without You” by The Kid LAROI.
Behind her, there is a sequence of sensationalised (or completely false) news headlines regarding Cyrus’s dating history.
Among the headlines to display behind Cyrus’s figure: “What really ended Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas’ relationship”, “Report: Miley Cyrus Drunk Dialing Exes’”, “Miley Cyrus Allegedly Pregnant With Juicy J’s Baby”, and “Liam Hemsworth Was Sick Of Being Humiliated by Miley Cyrus”.
At the end of the video, Cyrus then kisses musician and TikTok comedian King Moxu.
The video can be watched on TikTok here.
Last month, Cyrus penned a letter to Hannah Montana, the TV character she played as a child star, which moved some fans to tears.
To mark the 15th anniversary of the hit children’s series, Cyrus shared a handwritten note in which she described the character as “rocket that flew me to the moon and never brought me back down”.
