Fans were delighted, albeit bemused by the clip shared on Twitter, which shows Madonna singing a version of “Vogue” with the lyrics changed to discuss how she’s having fried fish for dinner.
“Come on go,” she sings into a hairbrush in her bathroom: ”Let’s go eat some fried fish... ‘cos there’s no more pasta.”
“Living in special times,” she tweeted with the video. “Thank GOD for imagination and fried fish! #quarantine #covid_19 #staysafe #becreative.”
In another, more recent video, Madonna is seen as she is given a number of treatments in what appears to be a private room at her home.
Celebrities have been urging people to self-isolate in order to quell the spread of coronavirus around the world.
Others have shared details of their symptoms after being testing positive, including Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, Idris Elba, Rachel Matthews, and TV presenter Fiona Phillips.
