Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon has reflected on her school years with actors Timothée Chalamet and Ansel Elgort.

The 24-year-old model attended Fiorello H LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in Manhattan, where she met the pair.

Speaking about Call Me By Your Name star Chalamet, she told Vanity Fair: “I respect him a lot, we were a little item. My first boyfriend.”

Of Baby Driver’s Elgort, she added that he was “a terrible DJ”.

In 2017, Chalamet recalled a “really fun night” hanging out with Leon. “Getting a dance with Madonna that night, that was cool," he said.

Madonna previously told British Vogue that her daughter is “insanely talented” but suggested she “doesn’t have the same drive” that she had when she was her age.

“I feel social media plagues her and makes her feel like, ‘People are going to give me things because I’m her daughter,’” Madonna said.

Earlier this week, the singer called on Americans to treat gun control like “the new vaccination” following the deaths of Adam Toledo and Daunte Wright.

Protests and greater demands for police and gun control reform have come following the recent deaths of Toledo, 13, and Wright, 20, on 29 March and 11 April respectively.

On Saturday (17 April) night, Madonna shared photos and video footage of herself stood by a pink wall covered with the hashtags “#GunControlNow” and “#WakeUpAmerica”.
