2 Chainz and Juvenile perform at non-socially distanced birthday party for Lil Wayne’s daughter
Reginae Carter celebrated her 22nd birthday at an Atlanta nightclub
2 Chainz and Juvenile were among the rappers to perform at a non-socially distanced birthday party for Lil Wayne’s daughter over the weekend in the US.
On Sunday (29 November), Reginae Carter celebrated her 22nd birthday with a 1990s/2000s-themed party at the Republic Lounge nightclub in Atlanta, Georgia.
However, footage shared on social media by Carter and her friends appeared to show a packed nightclub, with minimal social distancing in place and very few of the guests, including Lil Wayne, wearing masks.
“Last night was mad real,” Carter wrote as she shared photos to social media. “Thanks to my boyfriend for throwing me this amazing party ! Thanks to my parents for the juvenile and Mannie connect (legendary ) and I wanna thank everybody who came and partied with me ! Y’all some real ones.”
The Independent has contacted Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz and Juvenile’s representatives for comment.
The news comes just weeks after Wayne was charged with weapon possession in Florida for “knowingly possessing a firearm and ammunition”. If found guilty, he could face up to 10 years in prison.
In October, the 38-year-old made headlines once again after showing his support to Donald Trump in the week prior to the US election, sharing a picture of himself and the president smiling on social media.
