Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

N.E.RD have released a video to accompany their comeback single "Lemon" featuring Rihanna.

Directed by Todd Tourso and Scott Cudmore, it sees Mette Towley - one of Pharrell's dancers - perform an incredible solo routine.

Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shay Haley make their return with the first track since fourth record Nothing was released in 2010.

"Lemon" was premiered on Beats 1 with Zane Lowe on Wednesday 1 November - watch it below.

The beat on the track switches up before Rihanna starts rapping.

Fans have already spotted that it looks as though this was in progress since at least January 2015, with both Rihanna and Pharrell dropping hints on their Instagram accounts.

Pharrell confirmed back in 2015 that the trio were working on new material so it seems likely that "Lemon" was one of the tracks that has long been in the works.

In an interview with the BBC in February, he said he felt "really, really good" about their new music.

"Lemon" is available to stream now via Apple Music, Spotify and Tidal.
