Your support makes all the difference.Katy Perry has been hit with a lawsuit by a stagehand who claims she lost one of her toes while working on her 2014 Prismatic World Tour.
According to TMZ, Christina Fish suffered an injury at Perry's show in Raleigh, North Carolina; after being asked to help move a wall, it rolled suddenly across her foot, with Fish saying she could feel her shoe filling up with blood.
The lawsuit claims that she was offered ice, but that an ambulance was not called, resulting in her having to call a friend to pick her up and take her to ER. Fish claims her right toe became gangrenous as a result of the injury and eventually needed to be amputated.
She states that she wasn't able to use her foot for months and also suffered severe emotional distress, after orthopaedic doctors instructed her to keep her "dead toe" attached to her foot for as long as possible before the eventual amputation. She further claims that she is now unable to practise her favourite hobby, yoga, without her right toe.
As a result, she is now suing Perry, entertainment company Live Nation, and several other production companies involved in the Prismatic World Tour. The amount she is suing for has not been disclosed.
The start to Perry's Witness world tour was recently postponed "due to unavoidable production delays". The musician is set to play the UK in June 2018.
