Kanye West won’t be charged for grabbing and tossing a fan’s phone.

In January, the 45-year-old rapper who legally changed his name to Ye had an argument with a fan who was recording the celebrity from her car.

In the video, Ye can be seen accusing a woman of following him, to which she responds that he’s a “celebrity” as she continues to record him.

He then reaches into her car and grabs the woman’s phone, and throwing it into the street.

In the same clip, Ye also called out to a photographer to stop clicking pictures and handing him his camera.

According to TMZ, a press release from the Ventura Co District Attorney’s Office revealed that the fan’s phone suffered minor damages, only affecting the case around the device.

The release also said that the fan declined to press charges against Ye.

This incident reportedly took place near a facility where Ye’s daughter North West was playing basketball. The Donda rapper had asked paparazzi to not film him while he was trying to spend time with his children.

Earlier this year, Ye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian slammed paparazzi after she was asked about the same incident involving Ye in front of her children.

In January, the Skims founder was leaving her daughter North’s basketball game. As she was seen walking her children to their car, a paparazzo asked the mother of four about Ye tossing a fan’s phone.

“Hey Kim, what do you think of Kanye hitting someone…. The paparazzi’s phone?” the cameraman can be heard saying in a video obtained by Page Six.

Kardashian then turns to the man and says directly: “Do not talk to me about that in front of my kids.”

In the clip, one of Kardashian’s children can also be heard shouting: “Please leave!”
