The Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 1 premiered last night, revealing a surprise collaboration between Lorde and Kanye West, with the rapper giving his own spin on her "Yellow Flicker Beat" soundtrack contribution.
Sadly there's no verse from Yeezy, but he sprinkles some magic on the beat.
"The title should actually be "Lorde - Flicker (Kanye West added a different beat to make it seem like a rework but it's actually not because he doesnt even sing in it and it is barely changed) From The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 (Audio) " one Lorde fan rants on YouTube, but they're missing the point.
In stripping back the track Kanye makes it way more sultry and beguiling, "the slinkier side of the coin" as Lorde described it on Twitter.
Other artists who contributed to the sequel's soundtrack include CHVRCHES, Bat For Lashes, Miguel, Major Lazer, Ariana Grande, Charli XCX and Haim.
