From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Kanye West has revealed that he has finally finished “the best album of all time”.

The ever modest rapper shared a handwritten tracklist for Swish with his Twitter fans on Monday morning, with songs including “Waves”, “Fade”, “High Lights”, “Wolves” ft. Sia and Vic Mensa.

Recent weekly G.O.O.D Friday releases “Real Friends” with Ty Dolla $ign and No More Parties in LA” with Kendrick Lamar both feature on the record. There is no sign of “All Day” or “Only One”.

West’s reality TV star sister-in-law, Kylie Jenner, had scrawled “Kylie was here” at the bottom of the note.

The follow-up to 2013’s Yeezus was initially titled So Help Me God but West changed it last May.

His tweet is a likely nod to declaring himself “the greatest living rockstar on the planet” when he headlined Glastonbury Festival last summer.

Swish has been confirmed to drop on 11 February.
