Are we about to learn the most exciting Kanye West news since that last really exciting bit of Kanye West news that definitely didn’t happen?

Or are we simply preparing to be propelled into wall-to-wall Yeezy e-Commerce?

Time will certainly tell when the mysterious countdown clock, currently running on his new website, Yeezy Supply, finally reaches zero.

The revelation appears set to be made at approximately 9pm on Thursday 12 February.

West is indeed expected to release the follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2013 album Yeezus this year.

But the date also falls on New York Fashion Week, which could mean the rapper is threatening to unveil another interesting collection. Or, far less interestingly, launch a new range with Adidas.

The clock also runs ahead of his appearance at the Grammys with Rihanna and Sir Paul McCartney.

The trio will join Sam Smith, Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran and Beck to perform their new single “FourFiveSeconds” at the ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday evening.
