My recent work focusing on Latino voters in Arizona has shown me how crucial independent journalism is in giving voice to underrepresented communities.

Your support is what allows us to tell these stories, bringing attention to the issues that are often overlooked. Without your contributions, these voices might not be heard.

Every dollar you give helps us continue to shine a light on these critical issues in the run up to the election and beyond

John Lydon, AKA Johnny Rotten, continues to prove exactly why he’s one of punk’s finest legends. The 60-year-old was performing with Public Image Limited in Santiago, Chile, when he was hit in the head by a glass bottle, leaving a bloody gash.

Instead of marching off stage, Lydon grabbed a towel, wiped his head, called the individual a “f*cking coward” then continued on with the show to huge applause from the crowd.

Following the incident, the ex-Sex Pistols frontman wrote on Facebook: “Glass attack last night at Santiago, Club Blondie in Chile. No reflection on the rest of the crowd. Great gig. It lives. Anyone got any more pictures?”

Various pictures from the night have appeared online, along with a video showing Lydon’s reaction along with one member of the band’s entourage attempting to point out the perpetrator.

Public Image Limited are currently on a world tour, having recently played dates in Japan, Argentina, and Uruguay.
