The 2019 Grammys took place on Sunday night in Los Angeles (finishing early Monday morning in the UK), making for a historic night during which the talents of female artists were celebrated at times in unprecedented ways.

Kacey Musgraves walked away with the high-profile Album of the Year award for her record Golden Hour, among other wins in the country music categories.

Cardi B also won big, becoming the first female solo artist to win Best Rap Album in the history of the Grammys.
