Footballer Thiago Silva has responded after a PSG fan went viral for rapping a track named in honour of him at Glastonbury Festival.

"Thiago Silva" is a track from 2016 by rappers Dave and AJ Tracey. Dave was performing on the Other Stage at this year's festival, and asked if anyone knew the words to Tracey's parts on the track.

He then invited a young fan, Alex, onto the stage where they performed "Thiago Silva" together. The clip has since gone viral with praise for Alex. who was able to keep up.

Their performance has since been spotted by Silva himself, who responded with an applause emoji and the words: "Thanks Alex!"

Dave had previously made a guest appearance during Stormzy's headling set on the Pyramid Stage.
