This election is still a dead heat, according to most polls. In a fight with such wafer-thin margins, we need reporters on the ground talking to the people Trump and Harris are courting. Your support allows us to keep sending journalists to the story.

Climate change activists Extinction Rebellion will march through Glastonbury this year, to protest attitudes towards environmental issues.
The event will begin at the Park Stage at 4pm on Thursday 27 June with a series of talks from esteemed guest speakers, before the headlining performances begin on the Friday night.
Once the organised procession has reached the festival’s Sacred Space, plans are in place to make the largest ever human hourglass sculpture at 5.30pm. This will be to partially honour the organisation, whose logo is an hourglass.
The activist group recently held non-violent protests throughout Central London.
In a statement, Emily Eavis expressed her support of the march. “This is a chance for everybody at the Festival who feels passionately about protecting our planet and future generations to be part of a collective moment, before the main stages open up on the Friday,” she said.
“Everyone is invited to join in and listen to some inspiring speakers and send out a message to the world that this is a climate emergency and we need to act now.”
Environmental charity Greenpeace will also be collaborating with Extinction Rebellion and the festival on the protest.
Stormzy, The Killers and The Cure will headline this year’s festival, with acts such as Liam Gallagher, Miley Cyrus, Vampire Weekend, Two Door Cinema Club, Bastille, Christine and the Queens and many more also confirmed to perform.
