This election is still a dead heat, according to most polls. In a fight with such wafer-thin margins, we need reporters on the ground talking to the people Trump and Harris are courting. Your support allows us to keep sending journalists to the story.

Frank Ocean has finally dropped a surprise visual album, Endless, after putting fans through over a year of teasers as they waited for the singer’s first new record since 2012’s Channel Orange.

Expected follow-up Boys Don’t Cry, is yet to be released, but Apple Music representatives have hinted that it will be following the 16-track Endless this weekend with a different title.
Earlier this month, excitement was sparked by the addition of a black and white live stream showing Ocean doing carpentry. However, the addition of a new ‘due date’ on the library card of supposed release dates featured on his website disappointed fans, leading them to believe that Boys Don’t Cry would arrive on 16 November.
While we wait and see whether that album will reach our ears by Sunday after all, you can watch and listen to the 45-minute Endless, a continuation of the fortnight-long live stream, on US and UK Apple Music here.
Streams are also appearing on YouTube although these will be taken down when spotted by his record label. It is not available on Spotify.
The Endless visuals take footage from the live stream, which saw Ocean building a staircase in what seemed to be an abandoned warehouse.
Endless features a range of high profile artists, including James Blake, Sampha and Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood, with the tracklist as follows:
“Alabama”
“U-N-I-T-Y”
“Commes Des Garcons”
“Wither”
“In Here Somewhere”
“Sideways”
“Deathwish (ASR)”
‘Rushes To”
“Mine”
“Ambience 001: A Certainy Way”
“Ambience 002: Honeybaby”
“Hubolts”
“Slide on Me”
“Florida”
“Rushes”
“Higgs”
Ocean first announced that “two versions” of a project were on its way in July 2015 but had been keeping his loyal fanbase on the edge of their seats ever since. One fan even set up a website promising to text subscribers as soon as new music dropped (The Independent team signed up and alas, no texts arrived this morning).
