This election is still a dead heat, according to most polls. In a fight with such wafer-thin margins, we need reporters on the ground talking to the people Trump and Harris are courting. Your support allows us to keep sending journalists to the story.

End of the Road has announced the lineup for the 15th year of the festival.

The 2020 event will be headlined by Pixies.

King Krule, Angel Olsen and Brooklyn four-piece Big Thief, all of whom are making their debut as festival headliners, also top the lineup.

Little Simz, Richard Hawley, Aldous Harding, Squid, Whitney, Field Show and more have also been added to the billing.

Bright Eyes have chosen End of the Road to mark their first show in nearly a decade. London born Shygirl and 19-year-old poet/singer Arlo Parks, who was named as one of The Independent’s Ones to Watch in 2019, will also perform.

A number of jazz and jazz-influenced artists are on the billing, from The Comet is Coming to Black Country, New Road. Among the bands booked are Dublin four-piece Girl Band, Just Mustard, Squid, and Dry Cleaning.

End of the Road takes place at Larmer Tree Gardens, Wiltshire, between 3-6 September.
