Eminem has released a new single from his forthcoming compilation album Shady XV, featuring an all-star line-up of Detroit rappers.

The single, “Detroit vs Everybody”, includes Big Sean, Danny Brown, Dej Loaf, Royce da 5’9” and Trick Trick.

The track is the second single from Shady XV, an album to commemorate the 15th anniversary of Eminem’s label Shady Records.

The track follows the release of a controversial freestyle rap to promote the album on Vevo yesterday, in which Eminem said he will “punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice”.

The rapper comes in towards the end of his new single, closing the track with another controversial line, referencing NFL player Adrian Peterson, who stood trial on child abuse charges earlier this year.

Trick Trick does not rap on the song but features on the track’s outro, saying: “Hey Em, let me get this instrumental down to the hood to get the homies to get this remix cracking. Detroit! Ok.”

Shady XV is set to be released on 24 November in time for Black Friday in the US.

It will feature best-selling tracks by Eminem such as "Lose It" as well as new songs by him and other artists on his label, including Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf and 50 Cent.
