Anyone who has yet to see Elton John live, or simply cannot wait to relive the experience – tickets go on sale at 9am this morning.

The “Your Song” singer will play four UK stadium dates in June next year as part of his European tour, including Gloucester’s Kingsholm Stadium, Walsall’s Banks Stadium, Glasgow’s SSE Hydro and Aberdeen’s AECC.

John, 67, wowed fans with his energetic Bestival headline slot and following tour in 2013. His new concert dates fall in the week leading up to Glastonbury 2015, leading many to suspect that he may be one of Michael and Emily Eavis’ elusive bill toppers.

Ticket prices fall into three brackets - £40, £60 and £80 – and are available from Ticketmaster, See Tickets, Viagogo and other official outlets.

John has sold more than 300 million records across a five-decade career and ireleased his 29th solo album last year. He has won six Grammys, five Brits, an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a Tony.
