According to Page Six, Drake is now holed up in his mansion after hanging out with Durant just days before the Brooklyn Nets basketball player was diagnosed.
The "Hotline Bling" singer had posted a photo of himself with Durant at the West Hollywood venue Nice Guy.
Durant was visiting LA because the Nets were playing against the Lakers, although Durant himself was ruled out with an injury before testing positive with the virus.
While there is no suggestion that Drake has been diagnosed with the virus himself, several other high-profile celebrities have come down with the infectious disease.
Tom Hanks was the first big Hollywood star to catch coronavirus, with Idris Elba and Quantum of Solace actor Olga Kurylenko among those following suit.
