Dolly Parton has revealed that she may be preparing for a return to Playboy.

The 74-year-old icon said she is considering posing for the adult magazine to celebrate her 75th birthday in January 2021.

During an appearance on the Scott Mills and Chris Stark show on BBC Radio 5 Live, Parton insisted that any Playboy shoot would have to be “in good taste”.

“If I can do it in good taste and we’ll do it along with a really good interview inside,” she said. “So yeah, we’ve talked about it.”

The country music star added that it would be a “hoot” to be a Playboy cover star again.

Parton previously appeared in the magazine over 40 years ago. In 1978, she graced the cover of the  October issue, sporting the famous black bunny suit with bow-tie, cuffs and bunny ears.

On Friday (2 October), Parton released her third holiday album titled  A Holly Dolly Christmas. The “Jolene” singer will also appear in Netflix’s forthcoming original musical, Christmas on the Square.
