David Bowie has released his new video to jazz noir single “Sue (Or In A Season of Crime)”.

Filmed in New York and London, the black and white vintage-looking video compliments the track’s dramatic, bluesy sound.

The film features the singer’s face in the recording studio projected onto brick walls under tunnels and in dark alleyways.

The jazzy single was recorded earlier this year with the Maria Schneider Orchestra in New York and was co-produced by Tony Visconti.

The single marks a rare Bowie venture into the jazz genre, having previously featured pianist Mike Garson on his song “Aladdin Sane”

The track is taken from Bowie’s forthcoming album Nothing Has Changed, a definitive collection of his music from 1964 to 2014.

It will also feature some new material, including a 2014 recording “Tis A Pity She’s A Whore” that Bowie revealed earlier this week.

David Bowie is, a documentary about the singer, is also due to be released on 18 November.

The film was made as part of the sell-out V&A exhibition about the artist last year.
