From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

The dates for the 2010 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California have been confirmed. The three-day festival will take place from April 16 to 18, and tickets are currently available for presale on the festival website.

A lineup for the festival has yet to be announced. The 2009 lineup featured more than 100 artists led by Paul McCartney, The Cure, The Killers.

The Coachella Festival brings more than 100,000 music fans to the Southern California desert each year. In the decade since Coachella launched, the multi-stage event has grown in size and acclaim and is now seen as the opener of the summer festival season.

A three-day pass for 2010 is priced at $269. A camping spot is an additional $55, or $250 for an RV. Tickets can be paid in full or using an installment plan.
