BTS are returning to the spotlight after an “extended period of rest and relaxation” that lasted just one month.

The K-Pop group went on a break in August, with their management Big Hit Entertainment announcing that the band “have relentlessly driven themselves towards their goal since their debut”.

The statement added that the singers deserved “to recharge and prepare to present themselves anew as musicians and creators”.

It said: “[The break] will also provide them with a chance to enjoy the ordinary lives of young people in their 20s, albeit briefly.”

Today, it was officially confirmed that BTS, which comprises J-Hope, Jimin, Suga, RM, Jungkook, Jin and V, are back from their short-lived hiatus.

Their management said: “BTS have ended their period of rest and will be flying out today for a scheduled activity.”

BTS's next scheduled concert, as part of the Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour, will be in Saudi Arabia on 11 October before they return to Seoul for three more shows.
