Britney Spears has shared a quote that calls for the redistribution of wealth amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The pop star posted the graphic to her Instagram account, which was originally posted by user Mimi Zhu, who has 7,000 followers.

The post reads: “During this time of isolation, we need connection now more than ever. Call your loved ones, write virtual love letters. Technologies like virtual communication, streaming and broadcasting are part of our community collaboration.

“We will learn to kiss and hold each other through the waves of the web. We will feed each other, re-destribute [sic] wealth, strike. We will understand our own importance from the places we must stay. Communion moves beyond walls. We can still be together.”

Spears highlighted the phrase “Communion moves beyond walls” in her caption as she reshared the message.

One fan commented: “Yesssss queen of wealth re-distribution.”

The post has since gone viral, with many referring to Spears as “Comrade Britney”.

Spears has been asking fans to direct message her if they need anything during the coronavirus outbreak.
