From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. Speaking to Billboard during the band's current run of shows with Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba, Barker said that he and his bandmates have been discussing the possibility of a new LP.
"There's talk of maybe recording an album, there are talks of doing a tour with A Day To Remember, so we'll see what happens," he said.
The band appear to be doing well since the departure of frontman Tom Delonge, who recently said that the disintegration of Blink-182 was because of "squabbling and politics" between band members.
Mark Hoppus and Barker said they were "sick of covering for him" and vented their anger about his "attitude".
Barker also discussed the band's recent shows, saying it was "fun 'cause you’re in the practise room for four weeks and I know… how good the vibe is going, but no one else does.
"So it's finally like, 'Okay, we've heard Trav talk about it, we've heard Mark talk about it, we've just witnessed it.'"
