R&B superstar Beyonce won the coveted Song of the Year prize at the 52nd Grammy Awards here Sunday, triumphing for her hit single "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It.)"
It was the fifth Grammy of the night for Beyonce, who had led the nominations prior to the awards extravaganza at Los Angeles's Staples Center with 10 nods.
"Single Ladies" beat out competition from Lady Gaga's "Poker Face," Pretty Wings by Maxwell, the Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody" and Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me."
