Her most recent trick saw a quite mysterious teaser entitled "Lemonade" posted to HBO's YouTube channel; a 20-second clip featuring the singer with blonde, braided hair and leaning against a black SUV.
Ending with her words, "What am I to do, love? What am I going to do?", the video promises a "world premiere event" would be coming to HBO on 23 April at 6PM PST. She's also been secretly teasing fans for the past year with Instagram posts relating to the citrus fruit; with the term "Project Lemonade" long being pitched as a rumoured name for her expected "album film".
Whether this is teasing the release of a full album, or merely the second single from her album after "Formation", one thing is certain; her full album is very much on the immediate horizon, with its release pretty much guaranteed before she starts her Formation World Tour on 27 April.
