From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Tiffany Haddish will need to stay silent on which actress bit Beyoncé back in December.

The intrigue began earlier this week when Haddish described in a GQ interview how she revealed that she offered to beat up an an unnamed actress who bit Beyoncé at a party.

On Thursday the Girls Trip actress once again addressed the story and speculation saying that she signed a non-disclosure agreement about it on Instagram.

"NDAs are real y’all. NDAs are real. So, I’m not saying s*** about nothing," she said while at a hair salon.

Haddish - realising the ridiculousness of the situation - asked her fans to instead focus on real life problems instead of the "who bit Beyoncé" mystery.

She continued, "People should be focusing on the real issues at hand, like did you do your taxes,” she questioned. “Because taxes are due real soon. Can your children read and write? Have you been working with on them their reading and their writing? Is your house clean? That’s what we need to be focusing on. But y’all wanna know … everybody going crazy about who bit Beyoncé."

Haddish even quipped at one point that Stormy Daniels was the one who bit Queen Bey.

Since Haddish told the "biting Beyoncé" story earlier this week, the internet - Hollywood included - has been trying to guess who the culprit was.

So far, Chrissy Teigern, Tyler Perry, Sanna Lathan, Sara Foster and Lena Dunham have denied they bit Beyoncé.

After Haddish started talking about her encounters with the singer, Beyoncé dropped a verse on "Top Off" - a collaboration with DJ Khaled - that seemed to allude to Haddish opening her mouth: "If they're tryna party with the queen / They gon' have to sign a non-disclosure, ayy."

It's not confirmed that the verse is in fact about Haddish, but it's definitely an interesting move on Queen Bey's part.

Sadly, the internet will likely remain in the dark about who the unnamed actress is
