From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Following the announcement that his long-awaited third album Testing is finished, A$AP Rocky is expected to drop the project this Friday 25 May.

The rapper teased fans by posting on Instagram with the caption "525", suggesting the Friday release, with Complex confirming the news in an extensive interview with Flacko.

The album will include features from Dev Hynes (Blood Orange), UK grime artist Skepta, Kanye West, Dean Blunt and Tyler, the Creator.

"I've discovered sounds that I've never heard before, so I'm trying to manifest all of that into my new stuff," he said.

"Do you ever hear people when they describe that LSD experience and they tell you about colours that they never seen before? That's what I'm trying to describe. It's like the manifestation of drugs... without being so vocal about it."

He also revealed he worked on "a lot of music" with Kanye West while they were both in Berlin: "Kanye turned the hotel we were staying at into a Yeezy compound," he said. "He was designing sneakers in one suite, making music in one suite, and I was making music in my suite. It was crazy. We shut down the whole hotel."
