From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Tickets to Ariana Grande Manchester tribute concert this Sunday (4 June) sold out within 20 minutes.

The pop-star will be playing the star-studded event at Emirates Old Trafford to raise money for those affected by the tragic attack less than two weeks ago.

However, there are still some tickets reserved for those who attended Grande's Manchester Arena concert, registration having been extended until 2 pm today (1 June).

Ticketmaster said: "We would like to reassure any fans who were at the show that they will receive a free ticket."

So far, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Take That, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Usher, Katy Perry, and Niall Horan have been confirmed for the One Love Manchester concert. Oasis are also rumoured to be making an appearance.

Twenty-two died and many more were injured by a suicide bomber following Grande's Manchester Arena show on the 22 May.

The concert will also been broadcast on BBC One, starting at 6.55 pm and concluding at 10 pm.
