From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Ariana Grande’s fans have been wowed after the pop singer shared behind-the-scenes footage of her recording the single, “Positions”.
The clip, posted on Grande’s social media, shows her working out the layers of harmonies on the bridge and coming up with new note combinations.
“I love this kind of content where we can see the whole process,” one fan wrote in the replies. “You’re so talented and creative. I’m so proud of you. Seeing you build that bridge, adding tons of harmonies. This is so satisfying and fascinating.”
“The way you use your voice has always been super interesting to me,” another fan told Grande.
“Positions” was released in October last year as the lead single to Grande’s album of the same name, and was written by Grande and a host of co-writers, including Angelina Barrett and Brian Vincent Bates.
It follows Grande as she sings about being willing to change her lifestyle to accommodate her lover.
