Ariana Grande marks sixth anniversary of duet with Mac Miller
Grande has referenced the anniversary on Instagram
Ariana Grande has marked the sixth anniversary of her duet with Mac Miller, hinting at the commemoration on social media.
Miller, who died in September 2018 of an accidental drug overdose, collaborated with Grande on the hit "The Way", which was released on 23 March, 2013.
The pair later went public with their relationship in 2016, before splitting in 2018.
Grande appeared to publicly mark the anniversary of the release of "The Way" on her Instagram Story, in which she shared an image of a black screen with the words "six years" written in white letters.
The singer also included a heart emoji at the bottom of the picture.
On her Instagram account, Grande recently shared a photo of herself with Myron, formerly Miller's dog, who now appears to live with Grande.
She wrote next to the image, which shows the dog resting his head on her shoulder: "Real protective wit my soullll where YOUUUUUU been."
"The Way" peaked in ninth position of Billboard's Hot 100 chart three months after its release.
Grande recently became one of only 20 singers and bands to have topped the chart for seven weeks or more with at least two singles, as her song "7 Rings" remained in first position for a seventh week.
