International top tracks on Last.fm: Radiohead dominates for third straight week

For the third week running, British rock band Radiohead continues to dominate the Last.fm singles chart the week of February 27, taking the top eight slots with tracks from the band's new eighth album, The King of Limbs. Also on the chart are Adele and Lady Gaga.

All eight tracks from Radiohead's self-released album maintain top spots in the chart. This week the track "Lotus Flower" remains in the number one slot with 49,635 listeners (a drop from last week's 86,389 listeners). "Codex" jumps one position into second place with 44,318 listeners, while "Bloom" drops to third with 43,798 listeners.

English singer-songwriter Adele remains in the top ten with her hit song "Rolling in the Deep" from her sophomore effort, 21, released on January 24 in the UK, where it debuted at number one, and in North America on February 22. The track, holding the ninth slot, had 38,205 listeners this week.

Lady Gaga's new single "Born This Way," released on February 11, holds the tenth position this week with 37,116 listeners. The song is the first single and title track from her upcoming album, due for release on May 23.

Last.fm claims more than 40 million active users based in more than 200 countries. Available in 12 languages, the site's radio service is free for desktop computer users in the UK, the US, and Germany; mobile devices require a subscription of €3 a month to stream music.

Using a system called "scrobbling," Last.fm's charts measure everything its users listen to through the Last.fm website as well as hundreds of other music sites and services, including iTunes, Spotify, and The Hype Machine.
