Your support makes all the difference.On September 21, Activision Publishing revealed the setlist for its upcoming video game DJ Hero 2, due out on October 19. Samples of the 83 tracks, which include exclusive mixes of Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Eminem, and Metallica by a host of top DJs, are now available on the DJ Hero website.
The soundtrack features mixes by Diplo, A-Trak, RZA, FSG, DJ Qbert, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and DJ Shadow. Among the mixes: Lady Gaga/Deadmau5, Iyaz/Rihanna, Kanye West/Metallica, Pussycat Dolls/Pitbull, 2Pac/B.o.B., a new remix of a Daft Punk's "Human After All," Eminem's "Not Afraid" with Lil Wayne's "Lollipop," Rihanna's "Rude Boy" with Iyaz's "Replay," and a remix of David Guetta's "Memories" featuring Kid Cudi.
DJ Hero is among several video game series that allow players to perform along with tracks by famous musicians and bands. Among others are Rock Band, whose latest installment (due out in late 2010) will feature tracks by Them Crooked Vultures, Phoenix, Jane's Addiction, The Cure, Queen, and Jimi Hendrix; and Guitar Hero, whose Warriors of Rock edition (due out September 24) will include Soundgarden's unreleased track "Black Rain" and music by Muse, Black Sabbath, Def Leppard, and Megadeth.
DJ Hero 2 is due out on October 19 in North America and Australia and in Europe on October 22.
