The new European Internet Service Providers' Association has appointed Jim Dixon as its president. Dixon was previously head of ISPA UK.

Webmedia has appointed Lesley Phillips as business development manager, and Howard Hogan as financial controller. Phillips joins from the design and strategy group 20/20. Hogan was formerly finance manager with MTV.

ICL has appointed Ailsa Beaton as director of information and process engineering. Beaton joins ICL from PA Consulting Group, where she was a senior partner responsible for IT consulting in the public sector and for all consulting disciplines in the health sector.

Microsoft has three new board members. Simon Brown becomes director of the enterprise customer unit. Previously he was manager of sales and alliances within the unit. Mark Taylor becomes director of Microsoft Consulting Services. Steve Mann is director for the OEM channel.

PhotoDisc has appointed Michel Perrin as executive vice-president and general manager of PhotoDisc Europe. He joins from Infonie France, where he was general manager.

Glotel has appointed Dianne Brereton as head of its PC/Networking division and Peter Trivedi as head of development. Brereton has worked for Comms and PC People, one of Glotel's trading companies, for the past seven years.Trivedi joins from Comms People Inc, Glotel's US subsidiary.

Maverick has appointed Jon Sidwick as general manager. He joins from Sharp Electronics (UK), where he was responsible for setting up the sales, marketing and planning division of Sharp's LCD product division.

ILOG has appointed William A Scull as vice-president of worldwide marketing. Scull was president of Catalyst Consultants.

Heyden & Son has appointed Gerry Waterfield as product manager for Baseview Editorial Systems. Waterfield joins from Westcountry Publications, where he was systems development manager.

The Dodge Group has appointed Steve Singleton as global partner manager. Singleton joins from Lawson Software, where he was European alliance manager.

The Systems House G roup has appointed Tony Holton to the position of dealer sales manager. Holton joins from Anglo Corporation, where he managed the company's leasing operation in the distribution channel.

FTP Software has appointed Alan Scutt as vice-president for Northern Europe and South Africa. Scutt joins from Banyan, where he was UK managing director.
