Euro flutter

Sir: Disgruntled anti-euro Labour supporters like Mr Daddow (letter, 17 May) will not "have to vote Tory" in the next Euro-election but will opt for the Green Party in large numbers. To cheer Mr Daddow further I would suggest that he place a few bob on the Greens to win a seat in his Euro-region, the Southwest. He will be given good odds at the moment and he should ensure that he claims his winnings in pounds, not euros.
