Once my call had been logged with a "client relations" person, I endured over one hour of piped music while being transferred between departments. The following are extracts from the lyrics that were played during this time: "I never really loved you anyway"; "I promised never again";"It's just a matter of time, my situation". Is it any wonder that piped music may not improve customer relations?
